Corn Growers and Other Interested Parties:

This web site is being provided by ASTA to help growers locate grain handling facilities that have indicated a willingness to purchase, receive, and handle biotech corn products that have successfully completed all of the U.S. regulatory requirements for food and feed use, but are not yet fully approved for import into the European Union as whole grain, processed feeds, and/or food. Approximately 8,000 facilities have indicated a willingness to participate in the database on this web site. However, there may be additional grain handlers in your area that accept the biotech corn noted above but are not posted on this site.

Facilities listed on the ASTA database will not accept corn products that have not been fully approved for both food and feed use in the U.S. A current list of corn products available in the U.S. market and their approval status in the European Union published by the National Corn Growers Association can be found at http://www.ncga.com/biotechnology/search_hybrids/know_where.asp ASTA does not independently confirm or attest to the status of the listed products and expressly disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy of this list.

After verifying a facility's willingness to accept biotech corn that has not yet fully been approved for import into the European Union, you will then need to arrange timing and terms of acceptance for delivery. Some facilities may need to segregate corn, therefore, scheduling deliveries or other pre-harvest coordination may be necessary. For this reason, we urge you to have a pre-harvest discussion with the manager of the facility to which you intend to deliver such corn.

Reference herein to any specific commercial product, company, or service does not constitute an express or implied endorsement, recommendation, or warranty by ASTA and ASTA expressly and specifically disclaims any such warranty.
